A vessel is filled with milk and water. 70% of milk and 30% of water is taken out of the vessel. It is found that the vessel is vacated by 60% and has 120 L mixture. Find the quantity of milk and water in the mixture.

The correct option is A Milk = 67.5 L; Water = 52.5 L
70%m+30%w=12040×60=180 litres ------ (1)
30% of m + 70% w = 120 litres ------- (2)
7×(2)3×(1)=400 Original quantity of water=75 litres
Therefore, quantity of milk = 300-75=225 litres
Amount of milk and water left =30100×225and70100×75=67.5 litres and 52.5 litres
