A wall 6m long, 5m high and 0.5 thick is to be constructed with brick, each having length 25cm, 12.5 cm height 7.5 cm. Find the number of brick required to constructed the wall, if it is given that cement and sand mixture occupy 120 of volume of the wall.

Dimension of the wall, L = 6m, B=5m, H=0.5m
L = 600cm, B = 500cm, H=50cm

Dimensions of each brick, L=25cm, b=12.5cm, h=7.5cm
Volume of the wall excluding cement 19/20 th of the volume of the wall and sand mixture
Let number of bricks required = n
n=1920×Volume of the wallVolumeofeachbrick=19×600×500×5020×25×12.5×7.5=6080.
