The correct option is B $$ 139$
Area of the overall wall $= 10 \times 8 = 80 f t^{2}$
$1$ foot = $12 i n$
$1$ inch = $\frac{1}{12}$ ft

$36$ inches $= \frac{1}{12} \times 36 = 3$ ft

$42$ inches = $\frac{1}{12} \times 42 = 3.5$ ft

Area of the window $= 3 \times 3.5 = 10.5 f t^{2}$
Area to be whitewashed $=$ Area of the overall wall - Area of the window

$= 80 - 10.5$
$= 69.5 f t^{2}$
