A wanter tanker is 15 cm long , 20 cm wide and 10 cm high. The tanker is half filled with water . Find the volume of water in the tanker.

When $1000c{m}^3=1$ litter
i.e., $1c{m}^3=\left({10}^{-3}\right)$ litter
Thus, the volume of the tank is =$15\times 20\times 10$
$=3000c{m}^3$
$=3000\times {10}^{-3}c{m}^3$
$=\frac{3000}{1000}c{m}^3$
$=3$ litter.
As the tank filled with half the tank.
So, the volume of the water in the tank is $\frac{3}{2}=1.5$ litters.
