The horizontal distance over which the water can be projected is (Take $g=10m/s^2$).

$\frac{120\times {10}^3{cm}^3/120s}{5m^2}$

$=\frac{200cm}{S}=\frac{2m}{S}$

$v2=\frac{A1V1}{A2}=\frac{5\times 2}{1}=10m/s$

$t=\sqrt{\frac{2h}{g}}$

$R=vt=10m/s$

$\sqrt{\frac{2\times 1}{10}}s=2\sqrt{5m}=4.47m$
