The correct option is C 1:10 Ratio of dolphins to penguins = 2 : 5 Number of penguins in the zoo = 35 Let the number of dophins will be = x = 2:5:: x: 35, ⇒ x = 14 = number of dolphins Now, the number of penguins have doubled and the number of dolphins have halved. ∴ Number of penguins = 35×2 = 70 ∴ Number of dolphins = 142 = 7 Hence, the present ratio of dolphins to penguins = 7:70 = 1:10
