$m = 50 kg h = 25 m t = 5 seconds g = 10 N / kg P = ? Work done by the pump = Potential energy = mgh = 50 \times 10 \times 25 = 12500 J Therefore, power of pump = \frac{W}{t} = \frac{12500}{5} = 2500 W$
