The correct option is B Q
The equation of wave is,
y=aosin(ωtkx)
At t=0 and position x=π2k, from above equation we get
y=aosin(π2)=ao
At position x=π2k, displacement of the point is y=ao
This is equal to amplitude of wave but displacement is along ve, ydirection. Hence point Q correctly represents it.
Option (b) is correct.
