Given : Tmax=30 N m=0.5kg r=2 m g=10m/s2
Tension in the string is maximum when the stone is at the lowest position of the vertical motion.
Let the maximum angular velocity be wmax.
Using circular motion equation : mrw2max=Tmaxmg
0.5×2×w2max=300.5×10
OR w2max=305=25 wmax=5 rad/s
