Let number of residents = x
Then donation given by each resident = Rs. x
$∴ T o t a l c o l l e c t i o n = R s . x \times x$
$\Rightarrow x^{2} = 202500$
$x = \sqrt{202500}$

= $\sqrt{2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 5}$
$∴$ Number of residents = 450
