(b) State any four characteristics of an ideal fuel (or good fuel).
Fossil fuels are the non renewable resource of energy which takes millions or billions of years to be formed. Fossil fuels are generated by the dead and decaying flora and fauna which were in the earth's crust and the fats present in the flora and fauna not completely decomposed and according with time heat and high pressure it converts into fossil fuel after millions or billions of years . petrol,coal b- 1. It should possess high calorific value.
2. It should have proper ignition temperature. The ignition temperature of the fuel should neither be too low nor too high.
3. It should not produce poisonous products during combustion. In other words, it should not cause pollution o combustion.
