(c) A horse and a dog are running with the same speed. If the weight of the horse is ten times that of the dog, what is the ratio of their kinetic energies ?

In physics, the kinetic energy of an object is the energy that it possesses due to its motion. It is defined as the work needed to accelerate a body of a given mass from rest to its stated velocity.
b)

When a body is thrown upwards, its kinetic energy gradually changes into potential energy. At the highest point where its velocity becomes zero, whole of the kinetic energy gets converted into potential energy.

c)

The simplest way to solve this

We know that mass is directly proportional to kinetic energy.

As the mass of the horse is 10 times the dog.

Therefore ratio will be 10:1
