Solution

a)a periodic motion of the particles of an elastic body or medium in alternately opposite directions from the position of equilibrium when that equilibrium has been disturbed is called vibration.

b)A time period is an overall time that is required for the vibration to complete one cycle

With the increase in the time period, the frequency of the wave decreases.

When the time period of a wave is 0.05 seconds '

frequency=1timeperiodtimeperiod=0.05secthus f=10.05=20Hz
