For Ex: Sodium ion (Na+), Magnesium ion(Mg+2), chloride ion(Cl-), oxide ion(O2-), etc.
(b) Cations are positively charged ions(Formed by losing electrons)
Anions are negatively charged ions(Formed by gaining electrons).
