Chlorophyll is the green pigment which is present in the green leaves of the plants.It is present in chloroplasts. it helps in the absorption of light energy from sunlight. This light energy is later converted into chemical energy.
(b)
(i) The simple food is glucose, i.e. $C_{6} H_{12} O_{6}$

(ii)The food that gets stored in plants leaves is starch which is polymerised glucose.
