(a) The programme involved is Multiple Ovulation Embryo Transfer Technology (MOET)
(b) Steps for MOET programme in cows:
1. The cow is administered with hormones, (FSH - like) to induce follicular maturation and superovulation i.e., production of 6 - 8 ovum in a cycle.
2. Then the cow is mated with a bull or artificially inseminated.
3. The fertilised embryos are recovered at 8 celled stage non-surgically and transferred to surrogated mothers.
4. The cow is now ready for another round of super-ovulation.
