The correct option is B 1.8 N-m, Clockwise

Net torque about centre O is given by,

τnet=τclockwiseτanticlockwise

Clockwise torques:

τD=9×20=180 N-cm

τB=8sin30×20=80 N-cm

Anti-clockwise torques:

τA=4×20=80 N- cm

τC=0, since FC is a radial force.

Now,

τnet=(180+80)(80+0)=180 N-cm

τnet=1.8 N-m in clockwise direction.

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
