The correct option is B Rs. 18; 18.75%
Let the list price of the article be Rsx
So, the retailer bought it from the wholesaler at (10020)=80 % of x=Rs.0.8x
And the retailer sold it at (1005)=95 % of x=Rs.0.95x
Given, 0.95x=Rs114
=>x=Rs120
So, for the retailer,
C.P..=Rs0.8x=Rs.0.8×120=Rs96
And given SP=Rs.114
=>Profit=S.P.C.P.=Rs.114Rs.96=Rs.18
Hence, profit % =S.P.C.P.C.P.×100=1896×100=18.75 %
