$D i a m e t e r o f s e m i c i r c u l a r w i n d o w = 14 c m \Rightarrow R a d i u s = r = 7 c m ∴ C i r c u m f e r e n c e o f s e m i c i r c l e = πr + 2 r = \frac{22}{7} \times 7 + 2 \times 7 = (22 + 14) cm = 36 cm Now, cost of framing one centimetre = Rs . 5 ∴ Cost of framing 36 cm = 36 \times 5 = Rs . 180$
