A wire bent in the form of a square enclosed an area of $121sqcm$. If the same wire is bent so as to form a circle, then find the area enclosed? ( in $c{m}^2$)

As area of wire in sq. form $=121c{m}^2$

$\Rightarrow$ side of square $=\sqrt{121}=11cm$

As Perimeter of wire in sq. & circle

is same

$\Rightarrow 4\times 11=2\pi r\Rightarrow r=7cm$

$\therefore$ Area of circle $=\pi r^2=154c{m}^2$
