The correct option is D 30 nT, inward

From Biot- Savart's law,

B=μ0I4π(dl×r)r3

B=μ04πIdlsinθr2

Since, current carrying wire segment (dl) is very small as compare to distance between wire and point P, so we can apply above formula directly for given segment.

Given:
I=50 A; r=1 m; dl=1 cm=102 m

B=4π×1074π×50×102sin9012

B=50×109 T

From the right-hand thumb rule, it is clear that the direction of the magnetic field at point P is perpendicularly inward on the plane of paper.

B=50 nT , inward()

Hence, option (D) is the correct answer.
