Diameter of the wire forming a circle is $14cm$.
Therefore circumference of this circle that is the total length of the wire is$2\times 22/7\times 7=44cm$.
Givem that this circumference is used to create $2$ new objects.
1 object is a circle of radius $2.8cm$ whose circumference would be $2\times 22/7\times 2.8=17.6cm$.
The second object is a square of side x cm whose circumference is $4x$.
We know that sum of $4x$ and $17.6$ is $44$.

Therefore $4x$ is $26.4$ and $x$ is $6.6cm$.
