The initial length of the wire is 10 dm 10 cm.

We know,
1 dm = 10 cm
10 dm = 100 cm

10 dm 10 cm = (100+10) cm = 110 cm

110 cm long wire is broken into 11 equal pieces.

Length of each piece =Total length of wireTotal number of pieces
=11011 cm
=10 cm

Three small pieces are joined together end-to-end.


Length of the joined wire =10 cm×3
=30 cm
