A wire in the shape of an equilateral triangle of side 16 cm. is recent to a regular octagon.
We know, for this type of case the perimeter remains same.
The perimeter of the triangle =(3×16)cm
=48cm[ perimeter = length X number of side]
Now let, the length of the regular octagon be x cm.
Hence perimeter of it = 8x cm.
According to the question, 8x=48x=6cm.
Hence each side is 6 cm.
option C is correct.
