Given,
Length of the wire l=4m
Mass of the wire M=0.2kg
Now, displacement d=4(2×4)m=32m
Velocity of waves on a stretched cord
v=T/μ
μ=0.2kg4m=0.05
Now, velocity,
v=dt=32m×100.3s=40m/s
The tension
T=v2μ=40×40×0.05=40×40×5100=16×5=80N
