A wire is bent in the form of an equilateral triangle of each side $20 c m$ . If the same wire is bent in the form of a square, find the side of the square.

According to the question,

Perimeter of the square = Perimeter of an equilateral triangle with side $20 c m$

$⟹ 4 a = 3 \times 20$

$⟹ a = \frac{60}{4}$

$∴ a = 15 c m$

i.e., Side of the square $= 15 c m$
