Solution

The correct option is B B0Il2
The wire is carrying current along the positive xaxis, soL=l^i

Given, B=B0(^i+^j+^k) T

Magnetic force on current carrying wire will be,

F=(IL×B)

F=[Il^i×B0(^i+^j+^k)]

F=IlB0[(^i×^i)+(^i×^j)+(^i×^k)]

F=IlB0[0+^k^j]

F=B0Il^j+B0Il^k

|F|=(B0Il)2+(B0Il)2=2B0Il

Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
