so,λ1λ2=12 (1)

frequency (f)=v1λ1=T/ρπr2λ1

frequency in another wire = v2λ2=2Tρπ(2r)2λ2

so,ff,=v1λ1v2λ2Tρπ(r)2λ12Tρπ(2r)2λ2

=21×λ2λ1

=2×2 (From (1))

so,f,=f22
