A wire, when bent in the form of a square, encloses an area of 196cm2. If the same wire is bent to form a circle, then area of the circle is 249.45cm2

Area of square wire side2=196cm2
Hence, length of side =14cm

Perimeter of the square wire =4×14=56cm

The same 56cm wire is used to make a circle.

Hence, circumference of the circle =56cm

=>2π×radius=56cm

=>2×227×radius=56cm

radius of the circle formed =9811cm

Area of a circle of radius r =πr2
Area of the circle formed =227×9811×9811=249.45cm2
