Forces acting on the wooden block are weight mg of the block in downward direction and Normal action force N between the point of contact, between the table and the block in the upward direction.

Point of application of N: Point A
Point of application of weight: Point B (Centre of gravity of block)
At equilibrium, both forces would be equal i.e
N=mg
