Solution

a) The chemical formula of calcium carbonate is CaCO3.

b) Calcium carbonate reacts with acidic solutions to produce carbon dioxide gas.

CaCO3 + 2HCl CaCl2+ CO2 + H2O

c) In a graphite molecule, one valence electron of each carbon atom remains free, Thus making graphite a good conductor of electricity. Whereas in diamond, they have no free mobile electrons. Hence there won't be flow of electrons. That is why diamonds are bad conductors of electricity.
