Here, ∠APQ and ∠BPQ are adjacent angles. Also, AP and BP are two opposite rays.

We know that two adjacent angles are said to form a linear pair, if their non-common arms are two opposite rays.

∴ ∠APQ + ∠BPQ = 180º (Linear pair of angles)
