Solution

The correct option is D 0.0
Given: abc is a 3-digit number and a - c = 0

General form of abc = 100a + 10b + c ... (i)

Number obtained by reversing the digits is cba.

General form of cab = 100c + 10b + a ... (ii)

Subtracting (ii) from (i)
(100a+10b+c)(100c+10b+a)
=(1001)a+(1010)b+(1100)c
=99a99c
=99(ac)
=0 (Since a - c = 0)

Therefore, the difference abc - cba = 0.
