Solution

The correct option is B greater than 31.2 centimeters and less than 52.4 centimeters
We know that the sum of the length of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the length of the third side.

Let the length of the third side be a cm.
According to the condition, 10.6+a>15.6
a>5...(1)

Also,
a<10.6+15.6a<26.2.........(2)

The length of the third side cannot be greater than 26.2 cm since a<26.2 cm.
Therefore, the third side should be greater than 5 cm and less than 26.2 cm.

Perimeter of the triangle
=15.6+10.6+a=26.2+a

But we know a>5.
Therefore, 26.2+a>26.2+5
Perimeter of the triangle >31.2 cm …………(3)

We also know a<26.2.
Therefore, 26.2+a<26.2+26.2
Perimeter of the triangle <52.4 cm …………(4)

From (3) and (4) we have,
31.2 cm< perimeter<52.4 cm
