The correct option is C 63 cm
ABC is an equilateral triangle of side 6 cm. Let AM be its altitude.


Area of an equilateral triangle of side 6 cm is
32×(side)2=32×(6)2=183cm2......(i)
Also, area of ΔABC=12×Base×Height
Area of ΔABC=12×BC×AM
=12×6×AM ..........(ii)
Thus, from (i) and (ii),
=12×6×AM=183
AM=63
Hence, the correct answer is option (c).
