The correct option is A 1920cm2
ABCD and BCFE are parallelograms.
Area of EBC=960cm2
AB=30 cm
BC=40 cm
Now, let EE be a altitude from E to base EE
Area of EBC=12BC×EE
960=1240×EE
EE=962
EE=48 cm
Area of parallelogram ABCD=BC× height
= BC×EE
= 40×48
= 1920cm2
Area of parallelogram BCFE= Area of parallelogram ABCD
Similarly, both parallelogram are on the same base and between the same parallels.
Area of parallelogram BCFE= 1920cm2
