Question

ABCD ia quadrilateral, where AB = 7 cm, BC = 6 cm, AD = 8 cm, A = 60° and B = 90°. The following are the steps of construction.

Draw a line segment AB = 7 cm.
Make angles 60° and 90° at A and B respectively and extend the lines.
With A as the centre and radius 8 cm we construct an arc on the extended lines.
Mark the points C and D.
Join the points D and C to obtain the required quadrilateral ABCD.
