Solution

Given :
ABCD, then ABCE and
CE=AB
ABEC is a parallelogram.
It is known that diagonal of parallelogram bisect it into two triangles of equal area.
ar(ABC)=ar(BCE) ---- ( 1 )
ABD and ABC lie on the same base AB and between same parallels AB and DC.
ar(ABC)=ar(ABD) ----- ( 2 )
From equations ( 1 ) and ( 2 )
ar(ABD)=ar(BCE)
