Lateral shift due to a glass slab is given by δ=tcosrsin(ir) here t is the thickness of the slab.
and it is given t=15cmr=300
From Snell's Law
μ=sinisinr
3=sinisin300
sini=32=sin600
i=600
So, δ=15cos300sin(600300)
=1532/12
δ=8.66cm
