ABCDEF is a hexagon in which AB=BC=CD=DE=2 and EF=FA=1. Its interior angle C is between 90 and 180 and F is greater than 180. The rest of the angles are 90 each. What is its area?

Since, FE||DC
FEDC is trapezium

Area (FEDC)=12(1+2)×2=3 ...........(1)

Since FABC is trapezium

Area (FABC)=12(1+2)×2=3 ...........(2)

On adding both equations, we get
Area (hexagon)=3+3=6 units2

Hence, this is the answer.
