XYFungal cellAnimal cell
The characteristics show that ‘X’ is a fungal cell and ‘Y’ is an animal cell. Fungi do not contain chloroplast. Fungal cells contain cell walls made up of chitin and have other membrane bound cell organelles in the cytoplasm. An animal cell lacks a cell wall and does not contain chloroplast.
