Identify 'X' and 'Y'
glucose
The characteristics show that ‘X’ is a fungal cell and ‘Y’ is an animal cell. This is because fungi do not contain chloroplast. Fungal cells contain cell walls made up of chitin and have other cellular parts like cytoplasm, nucleus, cell membrane, etc. and an animal cell lacks a cell wall and does not contain chloroplast. They are dependent on other organisms for their nutrition.
