Total amount given to the shopkeeper = ₹500

Amount left = 500 100 = ₹400

Now, the shopkeeper returned ₹400 in notes of ₹20.
Total number of notes Abhinav got = 400 ÷ 20 = 20


Thus, the total number of notes the shopkeeper returned to Abhinav was 20.
