Let the capacitance of each capacitor be C.
Thus capacitance in case 1 C1=C
Case 2 : Equivalent capacitance in series combination C2=C×CC+C=C2

Case 3 ; Equivalent capacitance in parallel combination C3=C+C=2C

Hence correct answer is option C.
