Solution

The correct option is A Stomatal closure
Abscisic acid (ABA) is also known as stress hormone or dormin because it is produced in much higher amounts when plants are subjected to stress. ABA causes stomata to close by inhibition of an ATP dependent proton pump in the plasma membrane of guard cells. Thus the application of exogenous ABA of leaves of normal plants causes the closing of stomata. On the other hand, leaf expansion is caused by cytokinin, stem elongation is caused by gibberellin and root formation is initiated by auxin
So, the correct answer is 'Stomatal closure'
