Given:

AC and BD are two perpendicular diameters of a circle ABCD.

i.e., in figure, circle divides into four quadrants.

So, 2× area of the shaded region = Area of circle

πr2=308 cm2

227r2=2×308 cm2

r2=2×722×308 cm2

r2=2×7×14 cm2

r2=(14 cm)2

r=14 cm

Now, the circumference of a circle =2πr

=2×227×14 cm

=88 cm
