According to Pauli's exclusion principle, a maximum of Two electrons can be present in ‘d’ orbitals and ‘f’ orbitals.

Pauli’s Exclusion Principle: “an orbital cannot accommodate more than two electrons. If there are two electrons in an orbital they must have opposite spins.”
