According to vander de wal radius hydrogen is the smallest atom but according to the calculated radius helium is the Smallest atom with 31pm.So,which is the Smallest atom? Explain

Dear student, The helium atom is more massive than the hydrogen, but When we talk about covalent radius then hydrogen is found bigger than helium. So it totally depends on what factor you are generating the result. Regards
