Solution

Let a=acid and w=water

aw=43

3a=4w .........(1)

Since,
10+aw=31

3w=10+a ...........(2)

On multiply 1 by 3 and 2 by 4, we get

9a=12w

40+4a=12w

Therefore,
40+4a=9a

a=8

on putting a in 1, we get

w=6

Acid=8 L and Water=6 L

Hence, this is the answer.
