Acidic, basic and neutral solutions are given in three test tubes, and you are given a strip of red litmus. How will you identify the three solutions?

Firstly, take the red litmus strip and dip the strip into the three solutions.
The solution which turns the red litmus to blue is marked as a basic solution.
The red litmus has turned blue, now we dip this blue litmus into the remaining two solutions.
The solution in which blue litmus turns red is acidic and the remaining solution which shows no colour change is neutral.
